Tahini Chocolate Chip Blondies

If you’re a fan of tahini, you’ll love these blondies! They’re made with ripe bananas instead of eggs, which gives them a moist and chewy texture. The tahini adds a nutty flavour that pairs perfectly with the sweetness of the bananas. I went for tahini as the main fat, resulting in a lighter version yet still rich and fudgy. You’ll be surprised at how good these blondies are!

Here are some additional tips for making blondies:

  • Use ripe bananas. The riper the bananas, the sweeter and more flavorful the blondies will be.
  • Don’t overmix the batter. Overmixing will make the blondies tough.
  • Let the blondies cool completely before cutting into them. This will help prevent them from falling apart.
  • Blondies can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. They can also be frozen for up to 3 months.

Here are some variations on the basic blondie recipe:

  • Add walnuts, dried fruit or vegan marshmallows the batter.
  • Top the blondies with chocolate frosting or a glaze.
